Basketball Travel League
The Channel Islands Travel Basketball League allows experienced players to refine their skills and take their game to the next level. Participating Branches of the Channel Islands YMCA will face off head to head, rotating as Game Day Hosts. The season will end with an exciting Championship Tournament to determine the season’s winning branch!
Important: Try Outs are required for participation in the Travel Basketball League. While this opportunity may not be for every child yet in their basketball journey; we support children at all levels. We encourage children to participate in skills classes and recreational leagues that we offer at the Y to grow their skills!
As with our recreational local leagues at each branch, this league is in partnership with the Jr. Clippers, which includes skills clinics and discounted tickets for players, as well as materials for coaches.
Please note that jerseys are required to be purchased separately from registration costs and will be mailed directly to your house.
Camarillo Boys (Ages 11-14) - Team Registration
Thank you for your interest in the Camarillo (11-14) Division! This NEW Summer Travel Basketball League includes inter-branch competition between 6 branches of the Channel Islands YMCA Association, at the following locations: Camarillo, Ventura, Montecito, Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, and San Luis Obispo. This is an 9-week League which includes two 90-minute practices per week here in San Luis Obispo at a local basketball gym, and 6 total Game days on Saturdays located at rotating host branches (2 games per Saturday). Practices are TBD, based on volunteer coach availability.
This is a MANDATORY try-out. Dates will be updated once confirmed.
Those who make the team will be sent the link to register for the league, at the cost of $275. Payment must be completed within 48 hours of receiving the link to register, or the child’s spot will be given up to another player.

Camarillo Girls (Ages 11-14) - Team Registration
