Ventura Sports Camps
As you read this, our camp team is excited to be planning fun, enriching, and safe adventures for children to discover who they are and what they can achieve!
At Y Camp, the possibilities are endless! Y Summer Day Camps provide children and teens with supervised activities that cultivate values, develop skills, nurture relationships and actively explore children’s imagination.
At camp, you are able to create YOUR ideal summer experience. Our wide variety of programs provides something for everyone! Give your kids the chance to have fun, improve their health, learn new things and reach their potential.
Hours:
All YMCA camps run from 9am to 4pm.
AM and PM extended care is available at no extra charge.
AM Extended Care 7:30 – 9am
PM Extended Care 4 – 6pm
Camp Locations:
Camp will be held at Loma Vista Elementary School (Except Splash Camp)
A $25 weekly deposit is required at time of registration.
Program/Activity Cancellation Policy:
Program deposits are non-refundable and are not transferable. Certain programs have a clearly stated no-refund policy at time of enrollment. Programs canceled two weeks in advance of the program start date will receive a full refund, minus any required deposit or uniform charge. There are no refunds after this point unless the fee was charged in error or there is a documented medical reason. Program cancelations must be received in writing.
Splash Camp (Ages 6-12)
At Splash Camp, kids will make a splash while learning fundamental swim skills, water safety, and also have some time for free swim! Each week features a fun water-related theme, along with games and activities that keep campers active and engaged. Every day, after lunch, your child will participate in a 45-minute swim lesson with a certified swim instructor, followed by 45 minutes of supervised recreation swim time in the pool. At the end of the week, each camper will receive a certificate of achievement showcasing their swim level—perfect for continuing lessons at the Y.
This camp will take place at the Ventura Family YMCA.

Sports of all Sorts Camp (Ages 7-12)
At Sports of All Sorts Camp, kids will get a chance to play a variety of sports, from soccer and basketball to flag football and more! Each day is packed with basic fun drills, games, and scrimmages to help campers build their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Whether they’re shooting hoops or scoring goals, they’ll have a blast competing and learning new moves.
This camp will be located at Elmhurst Elementary School.
