Ventura Enrichment Camps
As you read this, our camp team is excited to be planning fun, enriching, and safe adventures for children to discover who they are and what they can achieve!
At Y Camp, the possibilities are endless! Y Summer Day Camps provide children and teens with supervised activities that cultivate values, develop skills, nurture relationships and actively explore children’s imagination.
At camp, you are able to create YOUR ideal summer experience. Our wide variety of programs provides something for everyone! Give your kids the chance to have fun, improve their health, learn new things and reach their potential.
Hours:
All YMCA camps run from 9am to 4pm.
AM and PM extended care is available at no extra charge.
AM Extended Care 7:30 – 9am
PM Extended Care 4 – 6pm

A $25 weekly deposit is required at time of registration.
Program/Activity Cancellation Policy:
Program deposits are non-refundable and are not transferable. Certain programs have a clearly stated no-refund policy at time of enrollment. Programs canceled two weeks in advance of the program start date will receive a full refund, minus any required deposit or uniform charge. There are no refunds after this point unless the fee was charged in error or there is a documented medical reason. Program cancelations must be received in writing.
Art Exploration (Ages 7-12)
Campers will learn fundamentals of wide varieties of artistic styles. These styles include painting, drawing, sculpting and building. On Friday, parents will be invited to see an art gallery of their child’s artwork from the week.
The first half of the day will focus on the specialized activity. The second half of the day will consist of traditional day camp activities that go along with the theme of the week.
This camp will be located at the Elmhurst Elementary School.

Foodie FUN-damentals (Ages 7-12)
Your chef will have a chance to explore cooking fundamentals and learn a variety of cooking skills in a hands-on environment. They will learn healthy eating habits, following recipes, and navigate kitchen safety. Chefs will make their snack and lunch each day.
The first half of the day will focus on the specialized activity. The second half of the day will consist of traditional day camp activities that go along with the theme of the week.
This camp will be located at Elmhurst Elementary School.

Photo Expo (Ages 7-12)
This summer camp teaches kids the basic elements of photography and how to use those to take better shots and develop their skills. They will learn about settings on cameras and how to set up great shots no matter where they are. In this camp, they will explore all kinds of photography and get a chance to dip their toes in different areas of art to learn what they like best. On Friday, parents are invited to see a gallery of their child’s work from the week.
This camp will be located at Elmhurst Elementary School.

Pokémon LEGO Engineers (Ages 7-12)
Power up your engineering skills in a race to be crowned the ultimate Pokémon Champion. This week your child will learn to build their favorite Pokémon, level up by teaching them special moves, evolve them into versions that are more powerful and come face to face with the current champion in an epic battle for this title!
