Ventura Enrichment Camps
As you read this, our camp team is excited to be planning fun, enriching, and safe adventures for children to discover who they are and what they can achieve!
At Y Camp, the possibilities are endless! Y Summer Day Camps provide children and teens with supervised activities that cultivate values, develop skills, nurture relationships and actively explore children’s imagination.
At camp, you are able to create YOUR ideal summer experience. Our wide variety of programs provides something for everyone! Give your kids the chance to have fun, improve their health, learn new things and reach their potential.
Hours:
All YMCA camps run from 9am to 4pm.
AM and PM extended care is available at no extra charge.
AM Extended Care 7:30 – 9am
PM Extended Care 4 – 6pm
Camp Locations:
Camp will be held at Elmhurst Elementary School
A $25 weekly deposit is required at time of registration.
Program/Activity Cancellation Policy:
Program deposits are non-refundable and are not transferable. Certain programs have a clearly stated no-refund policy at time of enrollment. Programs canceled two weeks in advance of the program start date will receive a full refund, minus any required deposit or uniform charge. There are no refunds after this point unless the fee was charged in error or there is a documented medical reason. Program cancelations must be received in writing.
Artist Adventures Camp (Ages 7-12)
At Artist Adventures Camp, young artists will dive into a world of imagination and creativity, exploring painting, drawing, sculpting, and building in fun, hands-on projects. The first half of the day focuses on mastering a new artistic skill, while the second half brings classic day camp fun with activities that tie into the weekly theme. On Friday, parents will be treated to an art gallery showcasing all the amazing work their child has created during the week!
This camp will be located at the Elmhurst Elementary School.

Chaos & Curiosity Science Camp (Ages 7-12)
At Chaos and Curiosity Science Camp, curious minds will dive into the world of science through hands-on experiments, exciting projects, and mind-blowing discoveries! Campers will take part in a variety of explosive STEM activities while collaborating as a team of young scientists. With each day filled with engaging experiments and creative challenges, your child will be inspired to explore the wonders of science—and maybe even spark a lifelong passion for discovery.

LEGO Camp (Ages 7-12)
Join us for an exciting LEGO Camp, where creativity and imagination come to life! Campers will have the chance to build, explore, and design their own LEGO masterpieces while developing problem-solving and teamwork skills. With themed challenges and fun activities, this camp offers a hands-on experience that encourages innovation and self-expression. Whether you’re a seasoned builder or just starting out, the LEGO Camp is the perfect place to unleash your creativity and have a blast with friends!

Taste Bud Explorers (Ages 7-12)
This camp introduces kids to the basics of cooking through hands-on learning, creative recipes, and daily opportunities to help prepare small bites for lunch. Campers will practice essential kitchen skills—including measuring, cutting, mixing, and following recipes—while gaining confidence and independence in the kitchen. Throughout the week, participants will learn kitchen etiquette and proper food handling, kitchen and knife safety, how to read and follow recipes, and how to make healthy food choices. This camp is ideal for young foodies, aspiring chefs, or any child who loves to learn by doing.
