Adaptive Small Group Training Combination Program for Adults with Special Needs.

YogAbility: practice prioritizes comfort, safety and individual needs to empower the student in improving one’s physical and mental wellbeing, including body awareness, motor skills, focus and emotional regulation. Simple and concise visual modeling/cues and verbal description are employed in a fun way to facilitate understanding and engagement. Various props will be utilized to provide stability and support to safely deepen the experience via asanas (physical yoga postures); pranayama (breathing exercises); and relaxation techniques.

Groove-Abilities: will provide the opportunity to bring music and movement together in a way that encourages the exploration of creativity and to unify as a community. Your instructor will introduce simple movements to the music that will unite the group together and encourage each person to find their own creativity to make them dance their own. We will explore different genres of music and play with different props to enhance creativity and connection. Your way is the right way, and you cannot get this wrong!
