School Age Swim Lessons (Ages 5-12)
Once students have mastered the fundamentals of Preschool Age Swim Lessons, students can continue to learn more advanced water safety skills and build stroke technique. In addition, they develop skills that prevent chronic disease, increase social-emotional and cognitive well-being, and foster a lifetime of physical activity. Stage 1 - Water Acclimation - Winter
Students develop comfort with underwater exploration and learn to safely exit in the event of falling into a body of water in Stage 1. This stage lays the foundation that allows for a student’s future progress in swimming.
There will be no class on Monday, President’s Day (Feb 17th).
The makeup class will be on Monday, Feb. 24th at the same time as their regularly scheduled class.
