School Age Swim Lessons (Ages 5-12)
Once students have mastered the fundamentals of Preschool Age Swim Lessons, students can continue to learn more advanced water safety skills and build stroke technique. In addition, they develop skills that prevent chronic disease, increase social-emotional and cognitive well-being, and foster a lifetime of physical activity. The 6 stages of classes for school aged swimmers are:

It’s common for swimmers to repeat a stage multiple times before advancing. Growth in swimming depends not only on skill development, but also confidence in the water and physical abilities. Repeating a stage isn’t a setback—it’s a key part of building a strong foundation for lifelong swimming success.
Before moving your child to a new stage, please check in with their instructor. Our instructors are always ready provide helpful insight into your child’s progress and assess readiness for the next stage. Please note that any level changes once a session begins are subject to class and space availability.
