Volleyball
Volleyball has been a favorite sport of all people and all ages over the last century. Originally called “mintonette,” the game was invented in 1895 by William G. Morgan — a graduate of the Springfield College of the YMCA. A team game that requires communication and teamwork, volleyball develops both positive human interaction and promotes a love for physical activity and fitness.
Fundamentals (Ages 4-7) - Winter
Participants will learn the basics of this sport on our very own court. Technique and accuracy in serving, passing, setting, and hitting are of emphasis in the class– Plus fun scrimmages and exciting volleys, of course!
